Our Aims
We are a community group for all residents in the Stoney Common & West Road Area in Stansted Mountfitchet. Our aim is to make the surrounding area a better place for the future, by working to maintain and improve the quality of life of local residents. The Stoney Common & West Road Community was formed to tackle issues that matter:
- to raise funds and collect contributions for future works.
- to organise repairs to roads and footpaths.
- work with local public bodies to improve the quality of local services, access and security.
- seek to preserve the character of the area by keeping a close eye on planning and environment issues.
- promote a greater sense of community by providing information about local issues and holding social events.
